Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Carlos Salgueiro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Bulhosa during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Ceuta FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Bulhosa. Valter Seixas kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Isidoro Caldas took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Hipólito Figueira to make any attempt to save it. Hipólito Figueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Salgueiro in the 12th minute of the match. SC Mouguelas's Carlos Salgueiro got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Éder Matos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adão Rodrigues's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Adão Rodrigues took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Éder Matos. Éder Matos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adão Rodrigues in the 34th minute of play forced SC Mouguelas's goalkeeper Éder Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Éder Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adão Rodrigues in the 41st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adão Rodrigues in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Éder Matos saved SC Mouguelas from getting behind. In the 47th minute of the match Egídio Cavaco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Éder Matos skillfully saved the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adão Rodrigues was the one to do the kick off. Éder Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adão Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute of the match Egídio Cavaco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Éder Matos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 58th minute, Carlos Salgueiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hipólito Figueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Caldas in the 63rd minute of the match. Adão Rodrigues in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Éder Matos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Isidoro Caldas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 minutes, Carlos Salgueiro made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ceuta FC's Hipólito Figueira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Ceuta FC booed when SC Mouguelas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nélson Vigário didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adão Rodrigues in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Éder Matos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Adão Rodrigues's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Éder Matos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Joaquim Baía fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Éder Matos having to interfere. In the 83rd minute of the match Valter Seixas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Éder Matos skillfully saved the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Adão Rodrigues dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Éder Matos, 2-3. After a rather tough play, SC Mouguelas's Torcato Aragão got a free kick in the 87th minute. When the final whistle sounded Ceuta FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC Mouguelas.
