Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nuno Medeiros hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 4 minutes, Lucas Lustosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragons in Paradise and the Golden State Warriors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Dragons in Paradise got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Lustosa. Vivaldo Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Ruas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesualdo Baptista hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vivaldo Pimenta in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Ruas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute, Filinto Lustosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Dragons in Paradise's zone, Palmiro Bezerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Ruas came out of the goal and Palmiro Bezerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Ruas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Pimenta in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Golden State Warriors's goalkeeper Lisandro Castelo Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim Domingues. In the 20th minute, Nuno Medeiros made a precise shot to the right of Lisandro Castelo Branco. Golden State Warriors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Nélson Vilas Boas charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nélson Vilas Boas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulo Ruas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudemiro Lessa in the 33rd minute of play. Lisandro Castelo Branco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno Medeiros in the 35th minute. Vivaldo Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Paulo Ruas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Golden State Warriors getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ilídio Maia hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Medeiros made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Golden State Warriors's Paulo Ruas threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vivaldo Pimenta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 61 minutes into the game, Golden State Warriors's Vivaldo Pimenta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Ruas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Lucas Lustosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilídio Maia hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Vivaldo Pimenta had several of the Dragons in Paradise's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Paulo Ruas as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some careless play in the Dragons in Paradise defense, Hildeberto Portugal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Ruas. The Dragons in Paradise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Ruas should have stopped the shot. Lisandro Castelo Branco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nuno Medeiros's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Golden State Warriors's Vivaldo Pimenta got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 minutes, Jesualdo Baptista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragons in Paradise and the Golden State Warriors players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Dragons in Paradise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesualdo Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Claudemiro Lessa charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudemiro Lessa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
