Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adão Rodrigues kicked off to start the match. Hermes Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isac Gueifão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermes Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head. Armadouro's Isac Gueifão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adão Rodrigues in the 5th minute of play. If Hélio Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 played minutes Ceuta FC got a freekick which was hit by Hilário Diegues. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Hermínio Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Armadouro's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermínio Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipólito Figueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Adão Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, Armadouro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Correia to maneuver through the defense. Isac Gueifão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Monsanto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Adão Rodrigues made a precise shot to the right of Isac Gueifão. Armadouro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Rúben Mourão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isac Gueifão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Armadouro's Danilo Albuquerque got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Monsanto in the 27th minute of play forced Armadouro's goalkeeper Isac Gueifão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Ceuta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hélio Vidal came free, but Hipólito Figueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hermínio Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Armadouro's protests and gave Hermínio Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Armadouro got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Montenegro. Hermes Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Isac Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hipólito Figueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Vidal in the 44th minute of play. After 46 minutes, Adão Rodrigues made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Armadouro's Isac Gueifão tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hélio Vidal was the one to do the kick off. If Rúben Mourão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Hermínio Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ceuta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Armadouro the free kick. After 87 played minutes Ceuta FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Póvoas. After 89 played minutes, Armadouro's Alfredo Loureiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hipólito Figueira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Armadouro reached it. Hermes Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isac Gueifão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermes Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head. The Armadouro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ceuta FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ceuta FC.
