Renato Lessa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Catarino Assunção managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Rosmaninhal FC's Aloísio Barata fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aprígio Caiado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 played minutes SC Lousada got a freekick which was hit by David Moreira. If Aprígio Caiado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Rosmaninhal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carvalheira to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Renato Lessa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Aprígio Caiado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Lousada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Claudemiro Lamego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Januário Liberato in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Rosmaninhal FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. João Carvalheira hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes, SC Lousada's David Moreira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudemiro Lamego came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Lousada reached it.

Rodrigo Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Claudemiro Lamego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rosmaninhal FC's Baltasar Fontoura got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the last second Claudemiro Lamego throw himself and got hold of the ball when Januário Liberato in the 52ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Catarino Assunção showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aloísio Barata, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Rosmaninhal FC's goalkeeper Claudemiro Lamego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aprígio Caiado. In the 58th match minute, Rosmaninhal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hildeberto Freire to maneuver through the defense. Januário Liberato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Januário Liberato in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudemiro Lamego saved Rosmaninhal FC from getting behind. If Renato Lessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 minutes, Porfírio Alcântara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Lousada and the Rosmaninhal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The long shot by Gusmão Prestes in the 68th minute really tested Claudemiro Lamego's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Aprígio Caiado struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Claudemiro Lamego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Lousada. Bernardo Borba's late challenge caught a SC Lousada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 81st minute of the match SC Lousada got a corner. Rosmaninhal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Moreira ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in David Moreira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rosmaninhal FC's Claudemiro Lamego did a great save.
