Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jorge Gama took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Jorge Gama took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Paulo Ruas to make any attempt to save it. Joaquim Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Dragons in Paradise's Paulo Ruas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Calheiros in the 8th minute of play. Teodoro Magalhães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nuno Medeiros's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Plácido Campelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Plácido Campelo got free with Paulo Ruas in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Plácido Campelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Vítor Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th match minute, Auto Esticões was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Conde to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th match minute, Dragons in Paradise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filinto Lustosa to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Ruas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Plácido Campelo in the 27th minute. Paulo Ruas came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Auto Esticões's Plácido Campelo. But to his dismay, Plácido Campelo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Plácido Campelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Ruas having to interfere. Jorge Gama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Paulo Ruas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Auto Esticões's zone, Nuno Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Magalhães came out of the goal and Nuno Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Plácido Campelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Ruas having to interfere. Jorge Gama fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Ruas having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nuno Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Dragons in Paradise's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Gama came free, but Paulo Ruas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Plácido Campelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Jorge Gama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Ruas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Jorge Gama had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Ruas. Dragons in Paradise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Gama was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Plácido Campelo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Ruas was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Jesualdo Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Dragons in Paradise defense, Plácido Campelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Ruas. The Dragons in Paradise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Ruas should have stopped the shot. Benedito Moutinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teodoro Magalhães. Auto Esticões's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Dragons in Paradise's Nuno Medeiros dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. A collision led to Dragons in Paradise getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Jesualdo Baptista hit a great ball. In the 91st match minute, Dragons in Paradise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Marques to maneuver through the defense. After 92 played minutes Auto Esticões got a freekick which was hit by Plácido Campelo. 96 minutes into the match, Auto Esticões's Norberto Conde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Ruas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dragons in Paradise players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Auto Esticões.
