SC Almarginho Portugalia's Hipólito Teves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Rego in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Matias Rego's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hipólito Teves was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moisés Morais in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hipólito Teves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee ignored SC Freches's protests and gave Jaime Festas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SC Freches getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jaime Festas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, SC Almarginho Portugalia's Júlio Álvares got a free kick in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Almarginho Portugalia's zone, Matias Rego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipólito Teves came out of the goal and Matias Rego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, SC Freches's Hipólito Teves threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Laureano Barata, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Diego Viana fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Freches's protests and gave Diego Viana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, SC Freches was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Viana to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Matias Rego left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The referee showed Tomé Rijo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Freches! After 80 played minutes SC Freches got a freekick which was hit by Matias Rego. Moisés Morais did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Hipólito Teves 85 minutes into the match. Júlio Álvares struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Francisco Quintela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Almarginho Portugalia. SC Almarginho Portugalia's Hipólito Teves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Rego in the 99th minute of play. The SC Freches players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
