Legio Februus's Paulo Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calvino Nadal in the 7th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Tõnn Veetõusme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 17 minutes, Tõnn Veetõusme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legio Februus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tõnn Veetõusme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tõnn Veetõusme in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Rodas saved AD Lidar from getting behind. After 23 played minutes AD Lidar got a freekick which was hit by Hermes Calheiros. In the 31st minute of the match Legio Februus got a corner. AD Lidar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pascoal Salgueiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Pascoal Salgueiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AD Lidar's Fernando Rodas did a great save. 35 minutes into the match, AD Lidar's goalkeeper Fernando Rodas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tõnn Veetõusme. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Óscar Ávila during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paulo Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calvino Nadal in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, AD Lidar's Hermes Calheiros got a free kick in the 44th minute. Pascoal Salgueiro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tõnn Veetõusme in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Rodas saved AD Lidar from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tõnn Veetõusme to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calvino Nadal in the 51st minute of play forced Legio Februus's goalkeeper Paulo Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tõnn Veetõusme in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Rodas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute, Costante Cavallosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Jacinto hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Tõnn Veetõusme came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Legio Februus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tõnn Veetõusme couldn't finish the play. Fernando Rodas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tõnn Veetõusme's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tõnn Veetõusme in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Rodas saved AD Lidar from getting behind. Pascoal Salgueiro made a great header on Legio Februus's corner, it was just that AD Lidar's Fernando Rodas managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 66thth minute of the game Calvino Nadal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legio Februus's Paulo Camargo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 75 played minutes, Legio Februus's Abílio Bento shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fernando Rodas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Legio Februus reached it. Hermes Calheiros kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Fernando Rodas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tõnn Veetõusme, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Paulo Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvino Nadal in the 81st minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Legio Februus got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Carneiro. If Calvino Nadal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tõnn Veetõusme in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Rodas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Calvino Nadal took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Camargo. Paulo Camargo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the final whistle sounded AD Lidar left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Legio Februus.
