Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Horácio Lages got the match started through his kick off. 9 minutes in the game, Tomé Rijo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Virgílio Azenha having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horácio Lages in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Quintela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, SC Freches's Inácio Lessa got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Freches's zone, Horácio Lages stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Quintela came out of the goal and Horácio Lages tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Horácio Lages had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Freches's zone, Horácio Lages stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Quintela came out of the goal and Horácio Lages tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 played minutes SC Freches got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Valério. In the 28th match minute, Reveles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Moisés Morais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of SC Freches booed when Reveles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Freches's zone, Hermano Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Quintela came out of the goal and Hermano Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Freches's Francisco Quintela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermano Almeida in the 36th minute of play. Francisco Quintela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horácio Lages, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Moisés Valério hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, SC Freches's goal looked a bit too open when Hermano Almeida came free, but Francisco Quintela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48thth minute of the game Horácio Lages who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Freches's Francisco Quintela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomé Rijo made a kick off. The supporters of SC Freches booed when Reveles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Moisés Morais's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgílio Azenha was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 59th minute Tomé Rijo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgílio Azenha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Hermano Almeida fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tomé Rijo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Virgílio Azenha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Quintela was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hermano Almeida showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 73 minute of play. When Hermano Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Reveles FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermano Almeida couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 88 in the game by Horácio Lages from a close distance when the talented Francisco Quintela managed to make a qualified save. SC Freches's players were relieved. Tomé Rijo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Reveles FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
