Wilson Azeredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Franco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilson Azeredo ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the match, Mário Falcão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio Mansilha. Famous Grouse FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mário Falcão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Famous Grouse FC's Júlio Mansilha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Caldas in the 34th minute of play. Canario FC's Raul Carvalhais got his second yellow card of the match in the 35th minute. The referee ordered Raul Carvalhais off the ground. Raul Carvalhais kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Wilson Azeredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Famous Grouse FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The Canario FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Júlio Mansilha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio Caldas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute.
