In the 3rd minute, Caio Caldas made a precise shot to the right of Nicolau Borges. SC Moliana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Flávio Lessa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canario FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flávio Lessa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolau Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flávio Lessa in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicolau Borges, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Caio Caldas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicolau Borges came out and tried to block the shot, but Caio Caldas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 11th minute. Rafael Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amável Diegues in the 16th minute of the match. Amável Diegues might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Franco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amável Diegues ran back to his position shaking his head. Amável Diegues took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Franco. Rafael Franco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 24th minute Amável Diegues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Canario FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Claudemiro Noronha hit a great ball. Nivaldo Balsemão struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Rafael Franco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Moliana. After a rather tough play, SC Moliana's Fábio Câmara got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Nicolau Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Lessa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Wilson Alves came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the SC Moliana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Alves couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Canario FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Alves came free, but Rafael Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolau Borges made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Caio Caldas sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Flávio Lessa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canario FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flávio Lessa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolau Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caio Caldas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 45th playminute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amável Diegues to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SC Moliana's zone, Raul Carvalhais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolau Borges came out of the goal and Raul Carvalhais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flávio Lessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolau Borges having to interfere. Nicolau Borges came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Canario FC's Flávio Lessa. But to his dismay, Flávio Lessa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. When Caio Caldas came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Canario FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caio Caldas couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Caio Caldas notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of SC Moliana's Nicolau Borges. Nicolau Borges was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SC Moliana's Nicolau Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Caldas in the 70th minute of play. Caio Caldas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolau Borges having to interfere. Flávio Lessa charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flávio Lessa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Flávio Lessa hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilson Alves got free with Rafael Franco in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th match minute, Canario FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Carvalhais to maneuver through the defense. Wilson Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Franco having to interfere. In the 90thth minute of the game Amável Diegues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canario FC's Rafael Franco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of SC Moliana booed when Canario FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio Caldas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The SC Moliana fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when SC Moliana's Wilson Alves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Canario FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
