An unexpectedly hard shot by Idalécio Cabral in the 20th minute of play forced SC Valenciano's goalkeeper Filinto Paixão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Sandrinho Lackey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filinto Paixão was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 27th play minute David Reis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Filinto Paixão. 2-0. After 35 minutes, Rafael Severiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Apressados and the SC Valenciano players grew even worse after the yellow card. SC Apressados's Idalécio Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vítor Baia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Candeias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Idalécio Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Filinto Paixão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sandrinho Lackey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Pedro Candal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Reis took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filinto Paixão. Filinto Paixão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The audience was convinced that Idalécio Cabral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filinto Paixão was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Valenciano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Danilo Flores was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Apressados's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on SC Apressados's corner Danilo Flores fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Filinto Paixão quite easily take care of the ball. In the 81st minute, Sandrinho Lackey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Apressados fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 90th minute of the match Henrique Brás sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filinto Paixão skillfully saved the ball. António Moita hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. SC Apressados's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
