D João I's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig-Ove Möller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With an all-out effort, Pegasus's Renato Teixeira threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 于扬沙, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 11 minutes in the game, Ramiro Txordon fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Renato Teixeira having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Pegasus got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Quadros. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Hélder Granja put in a rough tackle. In the 14th minute, one of D João I:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for D João I. Pegasus's Ramiro Txordon was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 20th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of D João I booed when Pegasus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Alvarenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bressail Johnson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastião Torres's late challenge caught a Pegasus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastião Torres helped the player get up and apologised. Stig-Ove Möller did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Renato Teixeira 30 minutes into the match. Isidoro Linhares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Onaca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Ramiro Txordon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but D João I's Renato Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastião Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. D João I's Renato Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 于扬沙 in the 43rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Ove Möller got free with Renato Teixeira in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Txordon in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renato Teixeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramiro Txordon to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramiro Txordon in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renato Teixeira saved D João I from getting behind. Renato Teixeira didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Pegasus's Ramiro Txordon shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Txordon in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Renato Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Txordon's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Isidoro Linhares struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. The audience was convinced that Stig-Ove Möller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renato Teixeira was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. After 96 minutes of play, Pegasus's Stig-Ove Möller made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renato Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there!
