Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Israel Brites kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Jairo Benevides was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ACR Comeira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave D João I the free kick. A collision led to ACR Comeira getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jairo Benevides hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Israel Brites in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renato Teixeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rubim Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Magalhães in the 10th minute of the match. ACR Comeira's Rubim Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Magalhães in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, ACR Comeira's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Magalhães came free, but Rubim Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Magalhães succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 21st playminute. After a rather tough play, D João I's Sebastião Torres got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Magalhães got free with Rubim Coelho in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Israel Brites sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Andrade took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renato Teixeira. Renato Teixeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When ACR Comeira's Israel Brites in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye D João I's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Severo to strike the kick off in the second half. Diego Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubim Coelho having to interfere. Rubim Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Figueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Gabriel Magalhães took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rubim Coelho. Rubim Coelho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. If Isidoro Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rubim Coelho came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by D João I's Isidoro Linhares. But to his dismay, Isidoro Linhares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Torres in the 83rd minute of play forced ACR Comeira's goalkeeper Rubim Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85th play minutes Israel Brites shot 4-4, a short shot which went by Renato Teixeira and just under the crossbar into goal. Rafael Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Renato Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Gabriel Magalhães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-4. Rubim Coelho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rubim Coelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Magalhães went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-4 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. D João I fully deserved thier win.
