In the 7thth minute of the game Diogo Modesto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jacinto FC's Tomé Cardoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Osvaldo Calheiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Porfírio Vigário tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Mini àguias fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Porfírio Vigário should have stopped the shot. The Mini àguias players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jacinto FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diogo Modesto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
