Tomé Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frederico Miguéis's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Ultra Ferrolhos CF's goalkeeper Cássio Prestes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Calheiros. Cássio Prestes made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Osvaldo Calheiros sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute, Telmo Marques fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Osvaldo Calheiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th match minute, Ultra Ferrolhos CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Mourinho to maneuver through the defense. Telmo Marques struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Cássio Prestes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jacinto FC. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cássio Prestes.
