Stig-Ove Möller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adolfo Tomé having to make a save. Adolfo Tomé came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Pegasus's Ramiro Txordon. But to his dismay, Ramiro Txordon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by 于扬沙 in the 13th minute of play forced Valboense FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Tomé to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Stig-Ove Möller recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adolfo Tomé. Stig-Ove Möller showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Valboense FC's zone, Stig-Ove Möller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Tomé came out of the goal and Stig-Ove Möller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 于扬沙 took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adolfo Tomé. Adolfo Tomé dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Ramiro Txordon scored 4-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adolfo Tomé, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29thth minute of the game Gil Mangueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pegasus's André Onaca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valboense FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baltasar Ávila in the 30th minute. Stig-Ove Möller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Tomé having to interfere. Adolfo Tomé was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Ramiro Txordon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ramiro Txordon really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. In the 41st match minute, Valboense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. Tarcísio Prates kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When 于扬沙 came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Pegasus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 于扬沙 couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Gil Mangueira made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Valboense FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Palma. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Alvarenga during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. André Alvarenga hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Mangueira in the 62nd minute of play forced Pegasus's goalkeeper André Onaca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig-Ove Möller struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Adolfo Tomé didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pegasus. Valboense FC's Adolfo Tomé played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 于扬沙 in the 65th minute of play. Gil Mangueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Onaca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gil Mangueira ran back to his position shaking his head. André Onaca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Txordon in the 74th minute of play forced Valboense FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Tomé to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ramiro Txordon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adolfo Tomé was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Ramiro Txordon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolfo Tomé stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Txordon's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Benedito Ferro kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Baltasar Ávila's late challenge caught a Pegasus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltasar Ávila helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute, Baltasar Ávila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Txordon in the 92nd minute of play forced Valboense FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Tomé to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Ervin Bogdán got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Stig-Ove Möller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pegasus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0.
