Fertus Orbiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Jacinto FC's zone, Elias Gouveia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomé Cardoso came out of the goal and Elias Gouveia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Fertus Orbiz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fertus Orbiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Pais, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. João Poças received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Tomé Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fertus Orbiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Marques in the 84th minute of the match. CARREGA FC's Fertus Orbiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Velasques in the 85th minute of play. In the 85th minute Hélder Velasques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fertus Orbiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, CARREGA FC's Fertus Orbiz got control of the ball when Hélder Velasques tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jacinto FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
