The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Telmo Marques made the kick off in the second half. Tomé Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Aleixo in the 53rd minute of the match. Abel Amorim made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Osvaldo Calheiros sent off a good shot on target. If Telmo Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Calheiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Amorim having to interfere. Telmo Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hilário Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Telmo Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Amorim having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Telmo Marques rounded Cancelo FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. When Osvaldo Calheiros, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 85 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Abel Amorim was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Telmo Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Amorim having to interfere. Rui Castro struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Tomé Cardoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cancelo FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Osvaldo Calheiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacinto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Calheiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osvaldo Calheiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Abel Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cancelo FC had won, even though Jacinto FC had held more of the ball.
