Spectators: 7359 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomé Vargas got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomé Vargas in the 4th minute of play forced O Savle CAD's goalkeeper Cássio Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SC Quinta fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when SC Quinta's Herberto Coutinho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Herberto Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute, Amável Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herberto Coutinho in the 17th minute of play forced O Savle CAD's goalkeeper Cássio Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomé Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Cássio Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. O Savle CAD's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 31st minute of the game, when Amável Tinoco after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of SC Quinta's goal. Amável Tinoco was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higino Brandão in the 34th minute of play forced O Savle CAD's goalkeeper Cássio Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseu Conde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurentino Gomes having to interfere. With a little luck, SC Quinta's Laurentino Gomes got control of the ball when Alípio Rios tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Herberto Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half SC Quinta were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 62 played minutes SC Quinta got a freekick which was hit by Herberto Coutinho. Alípio Rios charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alípio Rios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Herberto Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herberto Coutinho got free with Cássio Miranda in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the game, Evandro Torres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Laurentino Gomes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laurentino Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amável Tinoco in the 87th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herberto Coutinho got free with Cássio Miranda in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
