The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Evandro Torres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedykt Sadlowski. AmarSul Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evandro Torres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Alípio Rios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedykt Sadlowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Evandro Torres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. It was beautiful to see AmarSul Futebol Clube's Egídio Godinho in action when he in the 54th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 59th minute, Evandro Torres fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of O Savle CAD booed when AmarSul Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adão Maltez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Amável Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Godinho in the 64th minute of play. Alípio Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Alípio Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedykt Sadlowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egídio Godinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Cássio Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Godinho in the 91st minute of play forced O Savle CAD's goalkeeper Cássio Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
