In the 15th match minute, SC Valondrina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leal Teves to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 19 minutes, Hermenegildo Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Valondrina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermenegildo Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Ivo Salgado put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Benedykt Sadlowski. Egídio Godinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgílio Medeiros having to interfere. Hermenegildo Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When SC Valondrina's Hermenegildo Garcia, in the 32nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for SC Valondrina. With an all-out effort, SC Valondrina's Benedykt Sadlowski threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Torcato Regueira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After taking down the ball on SC Valondrina's corner João Malta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benedykt Sadlowski quite easily take care of the ball. AmarSul Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Hermenegildo Garcia scored to the left of an out of position Benedykt Sadlowski, making the score, 2-1. After some careless play in the AmarSul Futebol Clube defense, Ivo Salgado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedykt Sadlowski. The AmarSul Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedykt Sadlowski should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Egídio Godinho to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in AmarSul Futebol Clube's zone, Ivo Salgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedykt Sadlowski came out of the goal and Ivo Salgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivo Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 58 played minutes AmarSul Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Godinho. After a defensive mix-up in AmarSul Futebol Clube's zone, Hermenegildo Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedykt Sadlowski came out of the goal and Hermenegildo Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of SC Valondrina booed when AmarSul Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adão Maltez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute of the match João Malta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benedykt Sadlowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 65th minute Hermenegildo Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedykt Sadlowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivo Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Benedykt Sadlowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivo Salgado struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Benedykt Sadlowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Valondrina. After 75 played minutes AmarSul Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Filinto Calçada. Hermenegildo Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedykt Sadlowski having to interfere. Hermenegildo Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Hermenegildo Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Valondrina's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermenegildo Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedykt Sadlowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, AmarSul Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Sidónio Mendonça came free, but Benedykt Sadlowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Valondrina walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
