The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eric Rise who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Benedykt Sadlowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in BENFICA F C's zone, Egídio Godinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Linhares came out of the goal and Egídio Godinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias de Amaral in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedykt Sadlowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. BENFICA F C's Jeremias de Amaral was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Benedykt Sadlowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Eric Rise in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benedykt Sadlowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Eric Rise took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Benedykt Sadlowski to make any attempt to save it. Filinto Calçada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Paulino Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedykt Sadlowski was a little too slow when Almiro Osório got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias de Amaral in the 43rd minute of play forced AmarSul Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Benedykt Sadlowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeremias de Amaral to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Jeremias de Amaral notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of AmarSul Futebol Clube's Benedykt Sadlowski. Benedykt Sadlowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 57th match minute, BENFICA F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Eric Rise took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedykt Sadlowski. Benedykt Sadlowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After having played for 61 minutes, Eric Rise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BENFICA F C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Rise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Eric Rise had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedykt Sadlowski. AmarSul Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eric Rise was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Filinto Calçada's late challenge caught a BENFICA F C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filinto Calçada helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AmarSul Futebol Clube's Filinto Calçada got a free kick in the 68th minute. BENFICA F C made a substitution. Aristides Portela replaced Jeremias de Amaral. Filinto Calçada hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Aristides Portela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Rise in the 77th minute of play forced AmarSul Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Benedykt Sadlowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Portela struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Benedykt Sadlowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BENFICA F C. Benedykt Sadlowski came out of the goal and Aristides Portela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedykt Sadlowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristides Portela's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind AmarSul Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Benedykt Sadlowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. BENFICA F C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
