The supporters of Teteu Sport club booed when 1.FC Eleven Portuguese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Quintanilha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, 1.FC Eleven Portuguese's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Barroso came free, but Gil Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Rubim Granja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amílcar Caldeira hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The long shot by Sidónio Serpa in the 96th minute really tested Gil Varela's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The 1.FC Eleven Portuguese fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Teteu Sport club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
