Spectators: 7651 (Terracing: 5740, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) AKXE MADUREIRA's Miguel Meira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miguel Meira in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vicente Neves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Caetano Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Miguel Meiras short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Vicente Neves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Miguel Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKXE MADUREIRA's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Meira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Jordão during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes AKXE MADUREIRA got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Jordão. Miguel Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Vicente Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, AKXE MADUREIRA's goal looked a bit too open when Belchior Palmeira came free, but Mariano Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belchior Palmeira took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Esteves. Mariano Esteves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Miguel Meira in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vicente Neves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Artur Câmara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Neves having to make a save. The throw-in from Artur Câmara in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GDB's Rui Sardinha. If Miguel Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Jordão in the 35th minute of play forced AKXE MADUREIRA's goalkeeper Mariano Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belchior Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Mariano Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Miguel Meira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vicente Neves, 1-1. Vicente Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When Marcelo Jordão came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the AKXE MADUREIRA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Jordão couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

51 minutes into the match, AKXE MADUREIRA's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Avelar came free, but Mariano Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GDB's Vicente Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Belo in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, GDB's Artur Jordão dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. If Belchior Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to GDB getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Caio Sacadura hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Rodolfo Avelar made a precise shot to the right of Mariano Esteves. AKXE MADUREIRA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Vicente Neves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Meira went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Meira in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Neves saved GDB from getting behind. Marcelo Jordão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Neves having to interfere. After some careless play in the GDB defense, Miguel Meira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Neves. The GDB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Neves should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Meira in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
