Juliano Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herberto Bessa in the 5th minute. The referee ignored Sanjurge's protests and gave Herberto Bessa a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Sanjurge got a freekick which was hit by Herberto Bessa. Mateus lago in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juliano Queirós, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 14 minutes into the match, CF Antas's goalkeeper Juliano Queirós had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateus lago. Mauro Onofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Figueiras having to interfere. After 19 minutes of play, Sanjurge's Julio Vitin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juliano Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, Sanjurge's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Onofre came free, but Joaquim Figueiras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CF Antas's Juliano Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save CF Antas from getting a goal against them. Juliano Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Vitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes, Lisandro Maltez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CF Antas and the Sanjurge players grew even worse after the yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Juliano Queirós successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Mateus lago took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Juliano Queirós to make any attempt to save it. Juliano Queirós made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Mateus lago sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Figueiras having to interfere. Joaquim Figueiras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Pedroso in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Fabiano Palma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CF Antas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano Palma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Carlos Pedroso made the kick off in the second half. Herberto Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juliano Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateus lago's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus lago in the 60th minute of play forced CF Antas's goalkeeper Juliano Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Sanjurge's Joaquim Figueiras got control of the ball when Ronaldo Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sanjurge's zone, Carlos Pedroso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Figueiras came out of the goal and Carlos Pedroso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Sanjurge getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tarcísio Telinhos hit a great ball. After 73 played minutes Sanjurge got a freekick which was hit by Herberto Bessa. 75 minutes into the game, Hélio Franco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sanjurge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CF Antas the free kick. Hélio Franco hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, CF Antas's Carlos Pedroso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquim Figueiras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute Herberto Bessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juliano Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, CF Antas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antero Mendes to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute of the match Hélio Franco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juliano Queirós showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carlos Pedroso struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Joaquim Figueiras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CF Antas. In the 89th minute, Herberto Bessa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Carlos Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
