Vítor Magalhães was slow to take the kick. During this time Devesa FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 38th minute Isaac Malvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gil Festas came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the MAG F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Festas couldn't finish the play. Domingos Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Malvin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Mourão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MAG F.C.'s Gil Festas got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Devesa FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Isaac Malvin scored to the left of an out of position Domingos Tavares, making the score, 0-8. Devesa FC's Domingos Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Malvin in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Malvin in the 88th minute of play forced Devesa FC's goalkeeper Domingos Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
