After a defensive mix-up in Amora FC's zone, Normando Raposo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Matias came out of the goal and Normando Raposo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Velasques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lázaro Vigário showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Leiria, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Nuno Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rafael Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lúcio Leiria came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Amora FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lúcio Leiria couldn't finish the play. In the 29th match minute, Amora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimas Antunes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Solar dos Leões getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. João Velasques hit a great ball. Solar dos Leões's Lázaro Vigário played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Leiria in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Gastão Ramalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lázaro Vigário was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The Solar dos Leões players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Amora FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Normando Raposo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nivaldo Fidalgo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Vigário having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Velasques in the 63rd minute of play forced Amora FC's goalkeeper Rafael Matias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Lázaro Vigário tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Durval Carvalhal struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Lázaro Vigário didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amora FC. Lázaro Vigário showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Leiria in the 79th minute of the match. Solar dos Leões's Lázaro Vigário played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gastão Ramalho in the 82nd minute of play.
