Lisandro Conde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Vital having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Lourenço Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute of the match, Nicolas Pessoa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gerardo Avellaneda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When C.F.Real Porto's Nuno Sobral in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. C.F.Real Porto's Gonçalo Lobato was substituted for Amável Viegas. 80 minutes into the match, C.F.Real Porto's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Salazar came free, but Gerardo Avellaneda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
