Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Filipe Borba took the kick off in the first half of the match. Devesa FC's Domingos Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Lemos in the 13th minute of play. Basílio Coimbra hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. When JUVELEO FC's Dário Lemos in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Devesa FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Dário Lemos sped through Devesa FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Domingos Tavares. Devesa FC's Carlos Rocha shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rodrigo Baptista but with some difficulty. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Dário Lemos managed to get in a good position for a shot. JUVELEO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dário Lemos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the match, Adolfo Carneiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Baptista. JUVELEO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Carneiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Adolfo Perdigão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Tavares having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Borba in the 40th minute of play forced JUVELEO FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Adalberto Varela notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Devesa FC's Domingos Tavares. Domingos Tavares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Lemos in the 59th minute of play forced Devesa FC's goalkeeper Domingos Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingos Tavares made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Adalberto Varela sent off a good shot on target. André Leiria's late challenge caught a JUVELEO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Leiria helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes Devesa FC got a freekick which was hit by André Leiria. Dário Lemos struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Domingos Tavares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JUVELEO FC. Dário Lemos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Domingos Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dário Lemos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Devesa FC's Adolfo Carneiro got a free kick in the 81st minute. 1-4 became the score in the 82nd minute when Adalberto Varela elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Devesa FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Adolfo Carneiro hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in JUVELEO FC's zone, Filipe Borba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Baptista came out of the goal and Filipe Borba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adalberto Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Tavares having to interfere. The Devesa FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. JUVELEO FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
