With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio Amaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filinto Moutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Amaro having to interfere. Hildeberto Novais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Filinto Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute of the game Rúben Bento made a throw-in which Hermano Garcez played forward. 72 minutes into the game, Nuno Caiado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
