Arthur Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Elias Benevides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Maia in the 9th minute of play forced Surreal Dragons's goalkeeper Dimas Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Quadros in the 14th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Leonel Corte-Real took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Vladimiro Matai to make any attempt to save it. In the 25th minute Emanuel Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Corte-Real got free with Vladimiro Matai in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cesário Abrantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of ADCR Loreto United FC booed when Surreal Dragons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filinto Moutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimas Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesário Abrantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Surreal Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Vides came free, but Dimas Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonel Corte-Real's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vladimiro Matai firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 47th minute, Salvador Mafra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvador Mafra made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Surreal Dragons's goalkeeper Dimas Coelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cesário Abrantes. 53 minutes into the match, ADCR Loreto United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Andrade came free, but Vladimiro Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Mafra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimas Coelho having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Cesário Abrantes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dimas Coelho. Surreal Dragons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesário Abrantes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Salvador Mafra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimas Coelho having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Arthur Maia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ADCR Loreto United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Surreal Dragons the free kick. After 71 played minutes ADCR Loreto United FC got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Maia. Emanuel Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Vladimiro Matai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Álvaro Varela during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elias Benevides shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When Salvador Mafra came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the ADCR Loreto United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Mafra couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Arthur Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimiro Matai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Emanuel Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, ADCR Loreto United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hildeberto Novais came free, but Vladimiro Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ADCR Loreto United FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
