In the 9th minute Gusmão Macena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Carmona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Torcato Domingos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The jaca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Cristiano Campos struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Damião Quental didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for jaca FC. 18 minutes into the match, Montreux's goal looked a bit too open when Torcato Domingos came free, but Damião Quental reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in jaca FC's zone, Alex Mascarenhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josué Carmona came out of the goal and Alex Mascarenhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Gusmão Macena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Josué Carmona having to make a save. After some careless play in the jaca FC defense, Alonzo Txomin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Josué Carmona. The jaca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Josué Carmona should have stopped the shot. Gusmão Macena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gusmão Macena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Carmona having to interfere. After a rather tough play, jaca FC's Alexandre Ribeiro got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torcato Domingos made a kick off. Damião Quental took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torcato Domingos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gusmão Macena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montreux's supporters rose to their feet, but Gusmão Macena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josué Carmona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josué Carmona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gusmão Macena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Montreux's Alonzo Txomin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mário Lopes, made in the 59th minute of the game. Gusmão Macena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Josué Carmona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Montreux was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aprígio Portugal to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute of the match Murilo Ferraz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damião Quental skillfully saved the ball. Josué Carmona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gusmão Macena in the 66th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Garcia got free with Damião Quental in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Josué Carmona came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Montreux's Gusmão Macena. But to his dismay, Gusmão Macena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 77 minutes into the game, Gusmão Macena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Josué Carmona was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 82 minutes into the match, jaca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gusmão Macena came free, but Josué Carmona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gusmão Macena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Josué Carmona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alex Mascarenhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But to his dismay, Alex Mascarenhas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Romão Mourato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
