Spectators: 7723 (Terracing: 5793, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nuno Frois took the kick off in the first half of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Blue Dragon FC's goalkeeper Octávio Raminhos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Correia. Pedro Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Octávio Raminhos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Leão in the 19th minute of play forced Blue Dragon FC's goalkeeper Octávio Raminhos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pedro Correia came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Samarras FCG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Correia couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Catarino Fiúza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lê Teo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Frois in the 29th minute of play. Octávio Raminhos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Câmara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pedro Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermenegildo Leão during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Samarras FCG's Hermenegildo Leão got a free kick in the 37th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raimundo Câmara made a kick off. Pedro Correia might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octávio Raminhos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Correia ran back to his position shaking his head. Afonso Espinosa kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Octávio Raminhos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Correia in the 54th minute of play. Blue Dragon FC's Octávio Raminhos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Correia in the 65th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Blue Dragon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bento Torcato to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Raimundo Câmara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octávio Raminhos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Pedro Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octávio Raminhos having to interfere. Octávio Raminhos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Correia in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Bento Torcato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hugo Lousada came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Blue Dragon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Lousada couldn't finish the play. Octávio Raminhos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Correia in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Correia in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octávio Raminhos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd match minute, Samarras FCG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Leão to maneuver through the defense. After 96 minutes of play, Samarras FCG's Raimundo Câmara made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octávio Raminhos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Samarras FCG fans cheered their team off the field, for while Blue Dragon FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
