SC Lamego's Dedê Prestes got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabiano Neiva came out of the goal and Dedê Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The nice shot from Octávio Pinho in the 33rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Fabiano Neiva had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. If Dedê Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
