After some careless play in the FC Guisande defense, Paulino Eiró kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Malafaia. The FC Guisande fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Malafaia should have stopped the shot. In the 9th minute, Adriano Belém made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Malafaia. FC Guisande's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in FC Guisande's zone, Danilo Guterres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Malafaia came out of the goal and Danilo Guterres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Guisande's Roberto Malafaia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save FC Guisande from getting a goal against them. Paulino Eirós short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Roberto Malafaia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teófilo Amaral during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 25 minutes into the match, FC Guisande's goalkeeper Roberto Malafaia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulino Eiró. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Vargas got free with Roberto Malafaia in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulino Eiró's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roberto Malafaia firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zacarias Bulhosa made in the 37th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Paulino Eiró however managed to control. Teófilo Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Trigueiro having to interfere. Paulino Eirós short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Roberto Malafaia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, SC Fuinhas's Marcos Resende got a free kick in the 46th minute. Miguel Trigueiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David França in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Godinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roberto Malafaia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Vargas in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Laurentino Ponte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Guisande's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Fuinhas the free kick. In the 54th minute, Danilo Guterres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute, Paulino Eiró left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Fuinhas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 63rd match minute, FC Guisande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Godinho to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Malafaia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Guterres, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The corner led SC Fuinhas's Francisco Vargas to fire away a dangerous shot which Roberto Malafaia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Roberto Malafaia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Eiró in the 69th minute of the match. If Paulino Eiró had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Guisande's Roberto Malafaia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Eiró in the 77th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Mauro Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Guisande's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Fuinhas the free kick. In the 77th minute, Mauro Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Danilo Guterres came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the SC Fuinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Guterres couldn't finish the play. A collision led to SC Fuinhas getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Emanuel Barata hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Gusmão Portela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Malafaia was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Danilo Guterres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that SC Fuinhas were the better team. SC Fuinhas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
