Nuno Frois started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Lions FC booed when Blue Dragon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bento Torcato didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute of the match, Gervásio Vieira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Octávio Raminhos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Lions FC's Xavier Ribas in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blue Dragon FC's goalie prevented a goal. Blue Dragon FC's Octávio Raminhos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Blue Dragon FC from getting a goal against them. Isac Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octávio Raminhos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Ribas in the 24th minute of the match. Octávio Raminhos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Azevedo in the 25th minute of play. Gervásio Vieira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Octávio Raminhos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Gervásio Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerardo Zamudio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nuno Frois's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Gervásio Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Octávio Raminhos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 minutes of play, Lions FC's Gervásio Vieira made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octávio Raminhos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Blue Dragon FC's Octávio Raminhos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Blue Dragon FC from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Octávio Raminhos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervásio Vieira in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Dragon FC's zone, Isac Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octávio Raminhos came out of the goal and Isac Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bento Torcato hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute Isac Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octávio Raminhos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervásio Vieira might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octávio Raminhos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gervásio Vieira ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Blue Dragon FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Hugo Lousada hit a great ball. Gervásio Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Octávio Raminhos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nuno Frois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isac Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octávio Raminhos having to interfere. In the 81stth minute of the game Gervásio Vieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blue Dragon FC's Octávio Raminhos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jerardo Zamudio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Vilaça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octávio Raminhos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervásio Vieira in the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Keanu Reeves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lions FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blue Dragon FC the free kick. In the 87th match minute, Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keanu Reeves to maneuver through the defense. Lions FC's Angelo Abrantes was substituted for Sálvio Lages. If Nuno Frois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octávio Raminhos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Azevedo in the 95th minute of the match. Octávio Raminhos came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Lions FC's Almiro Maia. But to his dismay, Almiro Maia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. There was no doubt that Lions FC were the better team. Lions FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
