The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roberto Malafaia was a little too slow when Gervásio Vieira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. When Emanuel Godinho came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the FC Guisande fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Godinho couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute Emanuel Godinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerardo Zamudio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, FC Guisande's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Azevedo came free, but Roberto Malafaia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerardo Zamudio having to interfere. Emanuel Godinho charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Godinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Guisande getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. The wind increased when Emanuel Godinho made the kick off in the second half. Roberto Malafaia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervásio Vieira's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isac Azevedo in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Malafaia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roberto Malafaia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Azevedo in the 62nd minute of the match. Isac Azevedo succeeded in the game's 66th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Lions FC's zone, David França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerardo Zamudio came out of the goal and David França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David França received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jerardo Zamudio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lions FC made a substitution. Almiro Maia replaced Gervásio Vieira. In the 97th minute Almiro Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Malafaia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Godinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lions FC fully deserved thier win.
