Spectators: 7054 (Terracing: 5784, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teófilo Assunção started the match with the kick off. When Laureano Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Atlânticos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laureano Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Augusto Mansilha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beniamin Kaznocha having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Atlânticos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teófilo Assunção came free, but Fabiano Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Beniamin Kaznocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beniamin Kaznocha having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Atlânticos FC's Emanuel Veloso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Fabiano Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teófilo Assunção in the 27th minute of the match. Laureano Carvalho hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When Teófilo Assunção came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Vareiros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teófilo Assunção couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Viana in the 34th minute of play forced Atlânticos FC's goalkeeper Fabiano Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Veloso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Beniamin Kaznocha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Beniamin Kaznocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vareiros FC's zone, Hamilton Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beniamin Kaznocha came out of the goal and Hamilton Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beniamin Kaznocha acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Samuel Fraga. After 46 played minutes Vareiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Lameirinhas. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Veloso to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Samuel Fraga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beniamin Kaznocha showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Teófilo Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teófilo Assunção in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabiano Neiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hamilton Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atlânticos FC's Laureano Carvalho got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Emanuel Veloso put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Beniamin Kaznocha. Emanuel Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Vareiros FC's Teófilo Assunção ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabiano Neiva. Fabiano Neiva yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Emanuel Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Beniamin Kaznocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emanuel Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Atlânticos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
