The supporters of Lions FC booed when FC Guisande was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Godinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Edgar Montenegro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Guisande's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lions FC the free kick. Roberto Malafaia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Azevedo in the 34th minute of the match. Roberto Malafaia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isac Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Malafaia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Azevedo in the 38th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isac Azevedo made a kick off. Xavier Ribas did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Roberto Malafaia 54 minutes into the match. Roberto Malafaia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gervásio Vieira in the 62nd minute. When Isac Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Lions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isac Azevedo couldn't finish the play. With 66 minutes on the clock, Benedito Boaventura commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Guisande fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! If Isac Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Guisande's Roberto Malafaia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save FC Guisande from getting a goal against them. Gervásio Vieira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 82nd playminute. Roberto Malafaia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gervásio Vieira went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Lions FC made a substitution. Almiro Maia replaced Gervásio Vieira. Roberto Malafaia came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Lions FC's Almiro Maia. But to his dismay, Almiro Maia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. The FC Guisande fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lions FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
