With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isac Azevedo in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octávio Raminhos saved Blue Dragon FC from getting behind. The Lions FC fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Lions FC's Isac Azevedo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Octávio Raminhos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isac Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervásio Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Octávio Raminhos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Frois kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Isac Azevedo in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Nuno Frois might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerardo Zamudio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Frois ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute, Tarcísio Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blue Dragon FC's Octávio Raminhos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervásio Vieira in the 45th minute of play. Ronaldo Monsanto charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldo Monsanto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half Lions FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isac Azevedo made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Gervásio Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervásio Vieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octávio Raminhos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isac Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octávio Raminhos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Blue Dragon FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Hugo Lousada hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the game, one of Blue Dragon FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Esteban Raebert shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isac Azevedo in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octávio Raminhos saved Blue Dragon FC from getting behind. 69 minutes into the game, Lions FC's Gervásio Vieira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octávio Raminhos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Isac Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Dragon FC's zone, Gervásio Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octávio Raminhos came out of the goal and Gervásio Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Isac Azevedo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gervásio Vieira did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Octávio Raminhos 85 minutes into the match. Xavier Ribas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octávio Raminhos having to interfere. With a little luck, Blue Dragon FC's Octávio Raminhos got control of the ball when Almiro Maia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isac Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Octávio Raminhos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 100 minutes, Almiro Maia put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Octávio Raminhos. When Xavier Ribas came up free with the goalie in the 104th minute, the Lions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavier Ribas couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Lions FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Blue Dragon FC.
