SC Fuinhas's players were relieved. 15 minutes into the match, FC Guisande's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Guterres came free, but Roberto Malafaia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Guterres in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Malafaia saved FC Guisande from getting behind. Roberto Malafaia came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Fuinhas's Danilo Guterres. But to his dismay, Danilo Guterres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gusmão Portela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Roberto Malafaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David França was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With his leg Miguel Trigueiro managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when FC Guisande's Emanuel Godinho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Danilo Guterres came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the SC Fuinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Guterres couldn't finish the play. After 41 played minutes Teófilo Amaral rounded SC Fuinhas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Roberto Malafaia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulino Eiró went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half SC Fuinhas were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Guterres to make the kick off. If Danilo Guterres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Gusmão Portela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Malafaia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes FC Guisande got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Tomé. David França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When FC Guisande's Emanuel Godinho in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 85th minute of the match, Danilo Guterres tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Roberto Malafaia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, FC Guisande's Domingos Vale got a free kick in the 89th minute. When Francisco Vargas came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the SC Fuinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Vargas couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, SC Fuinhas's Gusmão Portela dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. When FC Guisande's Emanuel Godinho in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Fuinhas's goalie prevented a goal. The FC Guisande supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Fuinhas's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Fuinhas.
