Pedro Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Octávio Raminhos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th match minute, Samarras FCG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Correia to maneuver through the defense. Lê Teo made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Hugo Lousada sent off a good shot on target. When Samarras FCG's Raimundo Câmara in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blue Dragon FC's goalie prevented a goal. Lê Teo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Frois in the 12th minute of play. Pedro Correia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octávio Raminhos having to make a save. In the 15th match minute, Blue Dragon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Catarino Fiúza to maneuver through the defense. Cipriano Sergipano shot a long shot in the 16th minute and a light blocked Octávio Raminhos hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-1. In the 20th minute, Pedro Correia made a precise shot to the right of Octávio Raminhos. Blue Dragon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Octávio Raminhos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Samarras FCG's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Frois came free, but Lê Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-3 became the score in the 38th minute when Raimundo Câmara elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 45 minutes, Jorge Diegues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samarras FCG and the Blue Dragon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Samarras FCG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Diegues to maneuver through the defense. The Blue Dragon FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Samarras FCG were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raimundo Câmara was the one to do the kick off. Octávio Raminhos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Câmara in the 51st minute of the match. Pedro Correia struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Octávio Raminhos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samarras FCG. In the 54th minute, Alfredo Vilaça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute Raimundo Câmara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octávio Raminhos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundo Câmara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octávio Raminhos having to interfere. If Raimundo Câmara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Blue Dragon FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Bento Torcato hit a great ball. Raimundo Câmara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Hermenegildo Leão made a precise shot to the right of Octávio Raminhos. Blue Dragon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Nuno Frois kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Octávio Raminhos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Câmara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octávio Raminhos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Câmara, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Câmara in the 92nd minute of play forced Blue Dragon FC's goalkeeper Octávio Raminhos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Lousada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Blue Dragon FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Samarras FCG were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
