Emanuel Veloso started the match with the kick off. Emanuel Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Emanuel Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlânticos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Veloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octávio Raminhos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hamilton Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Emanuel Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octávio Raminhos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Nuno Frois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Atlânticos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Frois came free, but Fabiano Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlânticos FC's Emanuel Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Augusto Mansilha came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Atlânticos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Mansilha couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Atlânticos FC's Emanuel Veloso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octávio Raminhos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Blue Dragon FC's Octávio Raminhos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Mansilha in the 38th minute of play. Octávio Raminhos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Veloso in the 39th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Emanuel Veloso notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Blue Dragon FC's Octávio Raminhos. Octávio Raminhos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nuno Frois to strike the kick off in the second half. Octávio Raminhos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Samuel Fraga. The supporters of Atlânticos FC booed when Blue Dragon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Vilaça didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Atlânticos FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Hamilton Matos hit a great ball. Atlânticos FC's Fabiano Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Lousada in the 63rd minute of play. Fabiano Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Lousada, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Emanuel Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Octávio Raminhos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes of play, Atlânticos FC's Ronaldo Osório made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octávio Raminhos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Octávio Raminhos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Veloso in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Hugo Lousada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blue Dragon FC's Octávio Raminhos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Blue Dragon FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Blue Dragon FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Bento Torcato hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Dragon FC's zone, Emanuel Veloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octávio Raminhos came out of the goal and Emanuel Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octávio Raminhos having to interfere. If Emanuel Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes, Emanuel Veloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlânticos FC and the Blue Dragon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Atlânticos FC's Emanuel Veloso got a free kick in the 91st minute. If Emanuel Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
