If David França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 8 minutes, Teófilo Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Guisande and the Blue Dragon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Guisande getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Teófilo Amaral hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, David França managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Guisande's supporters rose to their feet, but David França was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octávio Raminhos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the game, Emanuel Godinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Octávio Raminhos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teófilo Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Octávio Raminhos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blue Dragon FC's Octávio Raminhos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Blue Dragon FC from getting a goal against them. Caetano Tomé hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Hugo Lousada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Malafaia having to interfere. David França struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Octávio Raminhos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Guisande. After 35 minutes of play FC Guisande's Teófilo Amaral was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. FC Guisande's Caetano Tomé got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Blue Dragon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurentino Marques to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Frois made a kick off. Octávio Raminhos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David França, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Emanuel Godinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuno Frois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Roberto Malafaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octávio Raminhos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Malafaia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Frois, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Nuno Frois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 85th minute, David França made a precise shot to the right of Octávio Raminhos. Blue Dragon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. FC Guisande's Roberto Malafaia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Guisande from getting a goal against them. FC Guisande's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
