Tony Shevchenko in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

After 65 minutes of play, Luso FC's Tony Shevchenko made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Peseiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th minute, Danny de la Rosa made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Peseiro. Luso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Boris Shaposhnikov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Peseiro having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Luso FC got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Fontes. Carlos Peseiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny de la Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Evaristo Criston put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Peseiro. 90 minutes into the match, Danny de la Rosa notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Luso FC's Carlos Peseiro. Carlos Peseiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luso FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
