After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Marcos Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Langra's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacob Calado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Valer Melinte notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Amantes Latinos's Jacob Calado. Jacob Calado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacob Calado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alcino Vigário, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Miranda struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Jacob Calado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Langra. Paulo Caldeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvador Dantas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raúl Gonzáles having to make a save. Valer Melinte received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacob Calado came out and tried to block the shot, but Valer Melinte slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. Marcos Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Calado having to interfere. Salvador Dantas hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Valer Melinte got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Marcos Miranda. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Miranda got free with Jacob Calado in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alcino Vigário received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jacob Calado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Alcino Vigário had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacob Calado. Amantes Latinos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alcino Vigário was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. A collision led to SC Langra getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Marcos Miranda hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Alcino Vigário fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jacob Calado, passed just outside the right post. Marcos Miranda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacob Calado came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcos Miranda slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Caldeira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, SC Langra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. SC Langra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valer Melinte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 97 minutes, Marcos Miranda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Langra and the Amantes Latinos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th minute, Marcos Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that SC Langra were the better team. SC Langra's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
