In the 17th minute, Isac Guarda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacob Calado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jacob Calado came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Luso FC's Cássio Noronha. But to his dismay, Cássio Noronha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Isac Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacob Calado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bruno Costa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 30 minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Caldeira made a kick off. Bruno Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simão Veríssimo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Cássio Noronha came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Luso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Noronha couldn't finish the play. If Cássio Noronha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cássio Noronha might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacob Calado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cássio Noronha ran back to his position shaking his head. Bruno Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Amantes Latinos defense, Hélder Fontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacob Calado. The Amantes Latinos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacob Calado should have stopped the shot.
