Carlos Peseiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Hjälm in the 17th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucian Bocu during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SLRock's Lucian Bocu got a free kick in the 19th minute. The supporters of SLRock booed when Luso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Cássio Noronha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alcides Gaspar, 2-0. 32 minutes into the game, Isac Guarda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Alcides Gaspar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrício Sampaio in the 44th minute of play forced Luso FC's goalkeeper Carlos Peseiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tang Ke Ying to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Tang Ke Ying hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Peseiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 63 minutes of play, SLRock's Roland Hjälm made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Peseiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ihazintu Vana hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. If Bruno Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Luso FC defense, Tang Ke Ying kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Peseiro. The Luso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Peseiro should have stopped the shot. Carlos Peseiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tang Ke Ying went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Guarda in the 84th minute of play forced SLRock's goalkeeper Alcides Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, one of Luso FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Luso FC. The referee gave SLRock a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alexandre Prates, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Luso FC's Carlos Peseiro. 4-5. After 94 minutes, Cássio Noronha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luso FC and the SLRock players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Cássio Noronha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luso FC's Bruno Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SLRock walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
