In the 6th minute, Laércio Taveira made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Peseiro. Luso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Botanorrego FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Albérico Quintas hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Isac Guarda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isac Guarda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sálvio Marinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Afonso Santiago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Peseiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juvenal Serpa, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 叶翔昂 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Nuno Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Botanorrego FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Peseiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the game, Botanorrego FC's Nuno Lopes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Peseiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Carlos Peseiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Lopes in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Botanorrego FC booed when Luso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cássio Noronha during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Laércio Taveira took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Peseiro. Carlos Peseiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The supporters of Botanorrego FC booed when Luso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Guarda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Peseiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuno Lopes went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Viriato Barata hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. A collision led to Botanorrego FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Marcelo Tavares hit a great ball. Nuno Lopes scored 0-5 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Peseiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gaspar Sacramento hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laércio Taveira was the one to do the kick off. When 叶翔昂 fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Botanorrego FC's protests and gave 叶翔昂 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Nuno Lopes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Carlos Peseiro, passed just outside the right post. If 叶翔昂 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juvenal Serpa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Peseiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Juvenal Serpa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 58th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Luso FC's goalkeeper Carlos Peseiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laércio Taveira. Gaspar Sacramento hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Nuno Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Laércio Taveira put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Peseiro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laércio Taveira got free with Carlos Peseiro in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Peseiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Lopes in the 81st minute of play. Isac Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sálvio Marinho having to interfere. Isac Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laércio Taveira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carlos Peseiro firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 90th minute, Adão Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the game, Nuno Lopes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Peseiro. Nuno Lopes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. 叶翔昂 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Peseiro having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Adão Campos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Botanorrego FC the free kick. After 96 played minutes Luso FC got a freekick which was hit by Adão Campos. Luso FC's Carlos Peseiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Luso FC from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Botanorrego FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Luso FC.
