After a rather tough play, PeixariaDaEsquina's Raul Frois got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 26th minute, Ricardo Madeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31 minutes, Rui Branco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mattas and the PeixariaDaEsquina players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Mattas defense, Raul Frois kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inácio Bentes. The Mattas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inácio Bentes should have stopped the shot. The referee ignored Mattas's protests and gave Amadeu Anjos a yellow card for diving instead. PeixariaDaEsquina's Gabriel Gago was substituted for Raul Frois. Afonso Taveira took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inácio Bentes. Inácio Bentes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After the first half PeixariaDaEsquina were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Gago was the one to do the kick off. Gabriel Gago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Inácio Bentes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inácio Bentes came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by PeixariaDaEsquina's Afonso Taveira. But to his dismay, Afonso Taveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Ricardo Madeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Zarco Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Gago got free with Inácio Bentes in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Inácio Bentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Taveira in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Gabriel Gago made a precise shot to the right of Inácio Bentes. Mattas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. The supporters of PeixariaDaEsquina booed when Mattas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Anjos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Gago's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Inácio Bentes firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 85th minute, Gabriel Gago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inácio Bentes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. The supporters of PeixariaDaEsquina booed when Mattas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romão Durães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Gago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Inácio Bentes made a huge save.
